Corruption is the First Impression in India

As far as the people of India are concerned, they have in their mind that the man sitting on government chair would not do his work till he pays him bribe. So first of all the man coming or contacting a government office tries to know whether the man sitting on chair is corrupt or not and if corrupt, what is his rate and he goes ahead only when he arranges money as per the rate prescribed by this fellow. When the people hear that a particular person is not taking bribe, h is surprised and thanks God that there is at least one person who is carrying on in the administration in spite of the fact that he is not taking bribe.
Similarly the people believe that who so ever is coming in politics, he is also interested that he should get a ministry and then he shall be joining the band who are committed to indulge in scams, scandals, muddles, taking bribe, indulging in corruption, taking commissions and that is the reason the people who get a ministry or some important portfolio, they get rich within days and since the bureaucracy is with them and the bureaucracy is completing the files and other records, they collect money and there is no trace which could catch them and convict them.
Here the question arises who introduced all this system in this area of the world. We have read in Guru Nanak works that bribe was there during those days when Qazi i.e. the judge was giving his awards in favour of those who were paying him bribe and when somebody objected, he was citing some lines from the religious books and was trying to say that his decision was in the right direction. We are from the same country and therefore, we should not think that we shall be writing off corruption from this country. Here in India the people themselves have adopted this way of giving bribe and they are ready and they pay. They cannot stop making payment and that is the reason the people who are taking bribe are also increasing their rate. The state or the police are catching those who are taking small amounts of bribe and the people who take bribe on the higher side, they are not being caught by the police or by the investigating agencies. If we conduct a survey of jails, we shall find small bribe takers and the people who had been collecting crore of rupees are not found in jails. It clearly means the people who take heavy amounts as bribe or are collecting heavy amounts through scams, scandals, muddles, commissions are sharing the money with high-ups and that is the reason they are not being located and caught. So under these circumstances, we are going ahead with corruption and that is the reason, we shall never be able to write off corruption from this country. That is the reason people in some of the departments have turned rich and people in other departments have been left behind and this led to sale of jobs and stations.
We the people of India have adopted corruption as a necessary part of our life and now we do not go to a religious place without money in our pocket and we have noted that before we actually pay our respect and regard, we place money and that money is collected by the people who administering the shrine. These people are turning rich and now we have noted that some people have started their own deras, asharams and matths and they are turning rich. There had been some religions in this part of the world and now this money collecting system could give birth to so many sub religions.
The political parties are allowing membership and ministries only to those people who are with money because our election system is costly and a poor person would not be in a position to win election. We have noted that some political parties are collecting party funds through he politicians who are joining these bands. The people who purchase membership would not spare a minute and they shall be collecting money because they too do not know that they would be getting a chance next time. Under these circumstances, we have adopted corruption a way of life with us and it shall continue till we are alive.
